Received this day at 8 50 u.m. " London, March 19. It is officially announced that Botha has rejected the terms of peace. Half of Fouric’s force has escaped, but were prevented crosiug the railway line.
Fouric himself is still within the British cordon. He inquired as to the terras of surrender.
Delisle is returning to Kroonstad. The Boers have wrecked twenty-one trains since the British occupied Komatipoort. The British captured a hundred thousand cattle, horses and sheep from De Wot in the Kroonstad and V inburg districts.
