The Ladies’ Costumes.

Among tlio ladies present at the first day’s Autumn Meeting of the Grcymouth Jockey Club were : Mrs Hannan, very stylish black and white costume. Black toque with yellow roses.

Mrs F. Campbell, Black satin blouse, with skirt. Large hat with feathers. Mrs Kettle, Blue coat and skirt handsomely braided. Very stylish hat en suite.

Mrs D. Campbell, Pretty figured silk with heliotrope yoke. Large black hat with ospreys. Mrs Foote, Green costume, with black mantle, black and maize bonnet. Mrs Jay, stylish dress of bronze silk. Toque with yellow flowers. Mrs E. Thomas, Blue dress with guipure trimmings. Large hat with roses. Mrs Doogan, Black skirt with blue and white striped blouse. Black hat with steel passementerie.

Mrs Whitfield, smart coat and skirt of fawn cloth. Cream 'hat.

Mrs Perkins, Pretty fawn costume with cream and black trimmings. Pretty bat to match.

Miss Trim, Gras) lawn costume very stylish toque with sequins. Miss Kettle, Dark blue Eton coat and skirt with cream chiff m vest with sailor hat.

Miss Jay, Pretty muslin over green. Pretty hat with folds of chiffon and roses. Miss Shecdy, Floral muslin relieved witn violet. White hat with plumes. Mrs E. Wickes, Slate coloured costume with pretty hat with feathers. Mrs II Wickes, Blue cloth with grey trimmings. Black leghorn hat, Aiss Beresford, Black costume with cream lace revers. Pretty hat to match.

Miss Griffon, Violet figured foulard. Stylish toque. Miss Petrie, Smart coat and skirt of grey tweed. Toque with fiowers. Miss Baillie, Pretty french muslin. Large white picture hat. Mrs Speac’, Brown cloth with black braidings. Toque of pale blue and brown silk.

Mrs W. Thomas, Pretty blue costume Large hat with,sequin trimmings. Mrs Brett, Black costume, feather boa with green silk toque. Miss lit lay, Very pretty green french muslin with mervellieuz vest. Black picture hat. Mrs Beare, Smart coat and skirt. Black tulle toque and ostrich feather boa.
