THE ADELPHI DRAMATIC COMPANY.
This talented company opened last night to a fullhousc when “It’s never too late to mend” was staged. The caste was a powerful one, and the various characters wore exceedingly well depicted. Mi Hodge as Tom Bobinsou was afgreat success, and played the part of the felon in a manner which time after time brought forth rounds of applause. Messrs Neville as George Fieling, Ward as John Meadows and Nelson as Lcir the money lender proved themselves most capable actors. Miss Lenard as Susan Merton was a decided success while tho other characters were well portrayed. Tho scenery painted by Mr Alf Inglesm was most elaborate and was much appreciated by tho audience, the farm yard seen in tho first act being loudly applauded To night tho well known drama tho “Ticket of Leave Man” w.llbo staged and in order to allow Brunner paTons to witness tho performance and leave by tho late train tho curtain will rise at eight o’clock sharp.
