The Times P.-kin correspondent states that China refrains from signing the Manchurian convention until she ascertains the support the Powers will afford her in the event of her ultimately refusing to si,;n. China still refuses to communicate to the Powers the text of the Russian demands.
German troops occupied Hansingling Pass, thus securing easy access to Shansi province, and killed 200 Chinese.
