Fatal Bow in a Boat. Auckland, This Day. Late last night, Jas. Perk, Win. F.eid, May Mills, and Mary Campbell left the jetty in a dingey to go on board their fishing boats. Shortly after leaving, it is alleged tho women began quarrelling, and a scuffle resulted in the boat being capsized. Crews from tho neighbouring vessels picked up Mary Campbell and Win. Held. Both were nearly exhausted. Tho other two were drowned. Dunedin Fire. Dunedin This Day A fire this morning completely gutted tho chocolate and starch rooms of the Phoenix Confectionery Coy in McLaggan Street. The fire was confined to the top story front building.
