ADELPHI DRAMATIC COMPANY.

"It's Never too Late to Mend."

Plajgoers will be glad to learn that the Adolp'hi Dramatic Company will play a season of four nights in Greyinouth commencing Friday next 15 th inst, and appear in the Opera House with their famous succassful drama, "It's Never too Late to Mend," as being played throughout England by Mr Charles Warner. The story is well known, and makes one of the most powerful dramas written. The present company is a strong one, and has been touring New Zealand for a considerable time. The management have also been successful in securing the services of the eminent English actor, Mr Crosbie Ward. The other members of the company are •Mr Andrew Hodge, who appears in Ins famous impersonation of the London thief—Mr Tom Piobinson; Mr Gus Neville, as the hero, George Fielding; Mr Chas. Naylor as Peter Crawley. Mr Naylor will also introduce his latest vocal successes. Mr Allan Daly as Wm. Fielding, Wm. Kember as Rev. Francis Eden, Mr Crosbie Ward as John Meadows, Mr David Nelson as Isaac Levi, flbner Robert Simpson, Mr Neville Thornton as Mr Marton; Miss JSltie Leonard will appear as the heroine, Susan Merton ; Miss Doris Elwood as the persecuted boy Joseph ; and Miss Ethel Gibson in her great impersonation of the Australian aboriginal, Jacky Jacky. Mr Alf Ingleson has paioted some very c'aborato scenery, and each setting is authentic. The first act calls forth great applause. It is a typical English farm, with all the livestock on tho stage, and constitutes one of the prettiest siago pictures yet seen. With such a show, the company cannot fail to draw large houses. Tho popular prices are announced—3s, 2s, and Is, The second production will bo Tom Taylors famous drama "Tickct-of-Leave-Man.
