Sin —Game is likely to be very plentiful this season in most of the country districts, pigeons and kakas being very numerous. They would be so, near Greymonth, providing we had not so many cockney sportsmen, who like shooting out of season. lesterday, 1 understand, there were two persons who ought to know better with guns in pursuit of game on the Seven-Mile road. If the police have no time to look after these law-breakers, why not appoint paid rangers. Trusting that some one will take the matter in hand, otherwise when the shooting season commences sportsmen will find the birds all gone, lam, &.C., Sportsman. Cobden, March 11th, 1901.
