CRICKET-SENIOR HONORS.
The convincing match for senior honors was played on Victoria Park on Saturday and resulted in a win for Greymouth on the second innings by 22 runs. An interesting feature of the game was the fact that in the first innings both teams scored 49 runs. For the Greymouth eleven, Newton with 12 and 29 was a tower of strength, Pocliin (1C) and Parry and M'Carthy (11 each) being tho only others to get into double figures. For No Town, Weir. 6 and 21, and Mullins, 12 and 9, were the best scorers. Subjoined are tho detailed scores:—
