BERNARD'S CIRCUS.
! This circus was crowded on Saturday night; as indeed this class of entertainment generally is. Of all acrobatic performances seen at Groymouth we certainly think that of tho young lady Ethel—for she is scarcely a child now—is tho best her contortions aro marvellous while her overy movement is graceful. Tho tumbling act was also very good. Pour dogs are trained to go through a very clever
performance, while it is difficult to realise that such a stupid brute as a bullock generally is, could be trained to do what the bovine rejoicing in the narno of "George" nightly goes through, A distinctive foature of the show is the bear parade and bear wrestling. Ono fairly good exponent of the art had a couple of bouts with Bruin, but the animal was too strong for the man. Subsequently two bears had a WresiHng match when "honors wero divided." To-night the performance will be repeated.
