Casualties in the recent engagements arc Victorian Bushmen : —Privates fisher and Holloway, sovercly; Pearson and Tones, slightly wounded. Westralian Bushmen:—Privates Battan and Burke, severely wounded. Burleigh states that the Australians serving in SoUth Africa greatly desire to bo included under one command. Eeceived this day at 9 87 a. m. London, February 27. The Boers under Lucas Meyer are retreating before French and Colonel B. N. Reade into Pongola bush on the Swaziland frontier.
