TOTARA FLAT STOCK SALES.

Messrs G. W. Moss and Co. report their salo of storo and fat stock at Totara FlaS yards as follows: — The entry consisted of 200 head of store and fat cattle, 860 store ewes and wethers 140 fat wetherp, 40 lambs, 14 pigs. The whole of the store cattle wore in forward condition, quiet, wall-bred and without doubt tie finest draft yarded this season. The a tendance of buyers was a record, being represented from Keefton, Grey Valley, Greymouth, Hokitikt and down South. The sale was most spirited throughout, aud the prices satisfactory to the vendors.

The following stock was disposed of: 1 prirao bullock, £lO 15s; 23 fat bu 1 - locks, £7 12s 6d to £7l7s Cd ; 30 forward, 4 and 5 year old, bullocks, £7 to £7 lis ; 65 forward 3 and 4 year old bullocks £6 5* to £6 17s 6d; 20 2 and 3 year old steers, £i 10! to £5 12-! 6d : 21 2 year olds mixed sexes, £3 10* 6d to £3 123 6d; 21 forward heifers, £3 5s to £4 15s ; 8 fat heifers, £4 17s 01 to £5 10s; 2 heavyweights at £7 17.! Gd.

Fat sheep, 140 wethers, 17s to 17s 6d ; storowetherp, 300 from 14s 9J to 15s 3d; store ewes, 200 at 13s 9d ; 300 were withd awn but placed privately after the sale, 85 lambs, at 93 3d ; fat pigs, 7 for clients at 40s ; 7 storo pigs at 9s.
