MONTGOMERY'S BIOSCOPE AND CONCERT COMPANY.

There was a good audience at the Opera House last night on the occasion of the second performance by the above Company. The various scenes depicted were received with much applause. The performance commenced with a number of views representative of 'firemen at work; that of the New York Brigade r^f - -tftrning out to a fire being particularly realistic. The films depicting a Spanish bull light arc so realistic as to cause the onlooker, to have doubt as to whether or not he is an occupant of one of the seats looking into the actual arena and witnessing the reality. The angry rushes of the infuriated animal, the swift movements of his tormentors and the final " happy despatch," of the bleeding and tortured beast are all there set forth as clearly as the original. Next followed pictures illustrative of the various stages in a soldier's life. A capital song " She's all we have to-day," was well sung by Mr Montgomery. Mr Hall followed singing a number of comic songs all of which were well rendered. The second part of the programme opened with pictures from the Boyal Navy. The firing of a torpedo and a man-o'-war steaming at the rate of fifteen miles, wore particularly good. Diving horsee, a railway collision, and an attack by Boxers, were also good representations. Further musical items by Messrs Montgomery and Hall terminated the performance. Tho Company appear again tonight for the last time.
