GREYMOUTH TROTTING CLUB.
The monthly meeting of the Grey mouth Trotting Club was held last night at the Club Room, Albion Hotel. Present : Messrs Petrie (chair), Tidd, Pricker, senhardt, M‘Oarthy, Steer, Kltchmaham, Bignell, Smith, Gieseking and Wickes. Mr. F. M'Carthy's application for a rider’s license was recommended to the Association. The application of Mr. Hutchinson for a rider’s license was held over for further information.
From Harley and Co. and EassonbusiCo. soliciting a share of the Club’s till ness. Consideration was deferred and next meeting,
Mr. J. Jay was unanimously elected a member of the’Olub.
Resolved that the band be engaged to play at the forthcoming Trots, on the same terms as last meeting, conditional that the members turn out and play through the streets before the trots begin.
