WESTLAND LAND BOARD.

A special meeting of the Westland Land Board was held yesterday at the Land’s Office; Present; Messrs Murray (Chief Commissioner) Gumming and Lang. The following business concerning this district was dealt with ;—W. If. Cunningham, to select 100 acres of land, being run No. KJ.S, in Block VI. Otira S.D., for occupation with right of purchase. Adjourned. J Jackson, agent W. Duncan, to select 5 acres of rural land being run No. 323. in Block I, Otira S.D., for occupation with right ot purchase. Adjourned. Salk ok Huns. The conditions of sale were road and approved. The Commissioner offered the following runs for public competition the prices realised as follows; Tercmakau Valley, (>,OOO acres, leased to John Morrisey for £lB per annum. Xaimata Range, 10,000 acres. No purchaser.
Kelley’s Range, 13,000 acres. Leased to T. W. Bruce, Inehbonuie Station fur £l3 per annum. Doctor’s Creek, 0,000 acres. Leased to H. Dicdrich’s for £0 per annum.
