FIRE AT HAWERA.

Hawera, This Day.
A fire broke out at midnight at the centre of the business portion of the town, but after hours of work it was got under.
Tho shops of Hannah and Co., bootmaker, were slightly damaged by the fire.
Duflicld, saddler, was also damaged, as was Bobinsons, plumber, and the West Coast Farmers' Trading Association mart.
Brunette, joweller, and Hougling escaped the (ire, but lost by the water considerably by the shop being broken open and things removed to some place of safety and others in pockets of undesirables.
