A NO TOWN WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding took place at No Town, on Monday February 18th. N. The ceremony being performed by the Rev, Father King, of Ahaura. The contracting parties were Miss A. M. Malone of No Town, and A, E. Morel, of Nelson Creek. The bride, who was given away by her father, Mr Malone, was attired in a fawn cloth costume trimmed with white

satin, piarl trimming and cXffon ; with pretty white hat trimmed with orange blossoms and ostrich feathers. While she carried a beautiful shower boquet. The bridesmaid Miss E. Malone wore a pretty white and blue muslin relieved with blue ribbon and chiffon, and hat to match ; and also carried a beautiful boquet. Mr L. Morel, of Nelson Creek, attended his brother as best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a handsome watch and chain and gold broach. While the bride’s present to the bridegroom was a silver mounted pipe. The bridegroom’s present to the bridesmaid, was a beautiful gold broach. As the happy couple left the church they were met with the customary showers of rice. This over, they proceeded to the residence of the bride’s parents where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of. Breakfast over the health of the bride’s parents was drunk. This was followed by the bride and bridegroom’s health. Mr Fiynn, ia proposing this toast, paid a high compliment to Mr and Mrs Morel. Toasts, songs, recitations and speeches, caused (he time to pass very swiftly until. Mr J. Malone informed the party that.ho had his camera ready to take the photos of the wedding party. This done, the happy couple left with the best wishes of all for Rsefton on route for Nelson, S hore they are to spend their honeymoon. The wedding presents were numerous and costly showing tho esteem in which the young couple are hold. In the evening a most enjoyable dance was held. Tho schoolroom was crowded with dancers from ail parts, many coming from Groymoutb, Brunnerton, Ngahero, and Nelson Creek. Dancing, relieved with songs and recitations, was kept up till 3 o’clock, when all retired to their trmes well pleased with one of the pleasantest nights ever spent in No Town.
