General French is driving a largo force in the direction of Kiotritief, and prevented them breaking back. Tho Inmskillings charged, killing five. They wounded six and captured a large number of waggons and catilo. Deceived this day at 9 5 a.m. London, January 15. Dc Wet with two thousand men crossed the Orange Elver Zand’s Drift on February 11th. 400 Boers attacked Phillipstown. Several were killed and the rest returned to the north-east.
Commandants flertzog and Kruitzinger are endeavoring to join Dc Wet.
