CO-OPERATIVE CONTRACTS. WRITTEN APPLICATIONS arc invited and will be received at County Chambers, Greymouth, up to 12 o'clock NOON on FRIDAY, 22nd instant for the following works : 1. Cobden-Barrytown Road, sections S, 9, 10 and 11. 2. Brown's Terracc-Kotuku Track, sections 1 and 5. For the first-named work the parties required for sections 8 and 9 are each to contain 3 men, and for section 10 and 11, each 4 men. For the second work one party of four men is required for section 4, and one party of 2 men for section 5. the application, which must clearly state the name and section of work applied for. If more than the required number of parties apply, selection will be made by ballot. Applications to be addressed to the County Chairman, and marked on outside with the name and section of work for which application is made.
