NELSON LANDS BOARD.

Number of Grey Yalley Applications Granted.

(our own correspondent.)

Nelson, February 11. At a special meeting of the Nelson Land Board to-day the following applications were granted : Geo. Mallinson 159 acres, Kopara.

Thomas Mallinson 728 acres, Kopara. Charles Bellew 150 acres and 2000 acres occupation license, Haupiri. George Mason 100 acres, Kopara. J. F. Johnston 600 acres occupation license. Ikamatua.

J. Farrell, 127 acres, Ikamatua. Several other applications were adjourned.

The Board passed a vote of condolence to the widow and family of the late Frahk Hamilton and welcomed his successor Mr. James Marshall.

Mr, Guinness appeared for those applications which were granted and for several which wore adjourned.
