It appears that plaintiff was in the habit of ordering goods on defendant’s account, the storekeepers requiring O’Donnell to guarantee the amount. This fact was borne out by W. Williams, storekeeper for Petrie and Co, Defendant denied this, aud said that plaintiff had nothing to do with his transactions with the storekeepers. The Magistrate gave judgment for £5 Os 8d for plaintiff with costs, SHEEP WORRYING. P. Cressey v. H. Swift. Mr Hannan appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Wade for the defence. He had caught one of the dogs and intended killing it, but found he had no power to do that. He had agreed to keep the ease out of Court if the dog was destroyed, but this had not been done.
