It is officially stated that at lunch at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, the King proposing the toast of the Kaiser thanked the Kaiser for his affectionate sympathy in hastening to assist, and watching at the death bed of the Queen and remaining at great personal inconvenience to join in the great national memory. He expressed the greatest satisfaction at the excellent relations between Britain and (Germany.
