An array of French bulls were defeated, losing ten million francs. Wellington, This Day.
The Department of Agriculture has •cceivcd the following cablegram from he Agent-General;—London 4th. The iverage price for the choicest butter is LOS/-. The market is steady.
Cheese 52/-. Market dull. Butter was demanded cheap. Fair •lirront Manila £3O 10s ; good fair Wellington £32 lOs.
Stock—l,22l tons against 219 tons lastyear. Cocksfoot 20 lb, standard 31/- per cwt.
