Uopetoun, on behalf of himself and Commonwealth Ministers, cabled to Chamberlain Ids heartfelt congratulations on the accession of (ho King, adding that in no part of his dominions was loyally more deeply rooted than in the Commonwealth, whoso people regarded the King with that affection and devotion, which was now subject to sucli spontaneous expression throughout the Empire.
