MIDLAND RAILWAY COMMISSION.
(per press association.) Wellington, This Day. The Midland Railway Commission which is to enquire into the claims of debenture holders for compensation for seizure of line, held the first sitting in Wellington this morning. It was decided to admit the Press to its sittings, of which the next will be held on Monday, when counsel for Government (Bell) and Receiver (Findlay) will be heard.
