BLACKBALL COAL MINE.

Yesterday the whole of the water having been run o(V. the brick walls were removed from the mouth of the Blackball coal mine, and an investigation made. There is ample evidence of the fire at No 4 and 5, this putting for ever on one side the no fire theory. Mr Scott is with his men to-day engaged in repairing the roads and line, and anticipates having at least a dozen miners hewing coal on Monday, and by the following Monday will have the mine once again in full work.
