The Annual Installation of Officers of the Advance Lodge No. 61 took place at (he Masonic Hall Brunnerton last evening, when a large number of visitors from Greyw.outh and Rcefton were present. The Hall was in memory of our late Queen, draped in black, and a large photo hung over the W. M’s pedestal. Bro. H. Michel, of Hokitika, installed the following officers : —W. M. Bro. John Arbucklc ; S. W. Bro. Rowlands ; J. AY. Bro. Boutledge ; Secretary, Bro. AVard ; Treasurer, Bro. Gulberlct ; S. D Bro. Moreland : J. D. Bro. Griffiths. Inside Guard, Bro. Boustridge, Tyler, Mylroi, T.P; M. Nybere, and Scott, organist. The Installing Master, on behalf of the members of the Lodge, presented Bro. E. A. Scott with a handsome P. M’s Jewel suitably inscribed. The recipient suitably replied, thanking the members for their gift, and one that was totally unexpected. The brethren then sat down to a sumptuous spread provided by Bro. Armstrong, where the usual Masonic Toast and song made the evening pass all too quickly away.
