ARAHURA LIVE STOCK REPORT
Mark Sprot and Co report their sale at Arahura yesterday;—The entry of fat cattle consisted of 80 local and 18 from the North Island, all of good quality. There was a full attendance of buyers and competition was good up to a point; about 3s per lOOlbs less than the previous sale. About 170 sheep were yarded and were -cleared at prices ranging up to 20s 6d for maiden ewes and wethers. We sold—■
On account of Mr E. Ryan, 20 bullocks and heifers from £lO 2s 6d and £sl7s 6d. On accout of Mr G. Scott Robertson, 15 bullocks and heifers at an average of £8 15s and £6 15s. On account of Mr H. Deidrichs 30 bullocks and heifers, fron £9lss to £6 12s 6d. On account of Mr H. Karnbach, 17 handy weight steers and heifers from £8 2s 6d to £5 ss. Fat sheep and lambs. —On account of Mr H Diedrichs, 50 wethers and ewes at 16s 8d; 4C lambs at 12s. For Mr B. Heslan, ewes at 16s and lambs at lis 6d.
