The Times and many other newspapers arc agitating for a comprehensive Royal title so as to include Australasia and oilier dependencies. The Australian troops under Dc Lisle heard of the death of the Queen on arriving by the Clanwilliarn, and were terribly shocked and grieved.
Yan Wyek, the Tammany Mayor of New York, alone refuses a half-mast (lag in memory of the Queen. Miles of Fifth Avenue had drooping flags displayed.
