For Westport and north per Kennedy at 4 p m. For Oamavu and Duncdin per Janet Nicoll at 7 p m.
Mails for Europe U. S. America, Canada. America. United Kingdom, via Frisco, close here on Friday, February Ist at 830 am. Registered letters at 5 pm, money orders at 4p m on 81st January. The public are warned that letters for Australia cannot be sent for Id, the letters must be stamped at the rate of 2d per \ oz. Mails for Natal and Capetown, per Aberdeen on 22nd, Gulf of Bothnia 27th January, Naming 9th Fibruary, and Capetown, Persic, 2nd February from Melbourne. The Postal Authorities wish to draw special attention to the fact that rates of postage, except for letters and letter cards have not bpen reduced. Commercial paper-, newspapers, etc., require the same postage us tefore.
