THE BLACKBALL BRIDGE.
Mr Guinness, who lias been urging the Government to proceed with the Blackball bridge at Ngahcre, yesterday received the following reply : "A. R. Guinness, Esq., M.H.E.— Be Blackball bridge, instructions have been given to prepare plans, the present ones requiring some modification. On my return I will look into the matter and let you know how they are progressing. Kind regards. —W. Haxl-Jones."
