BLIZZARD IN SOUTH RUSSIA.

St. Pktkksbukg, January 14. A terrible blizzard has raged this weok ih South Russia. Six trains, and 5000 passengers were snow bound at Bazdyelnaia and nearly starved. After digging for three days 1000 soldiers from Kieff and Odessa succeeded in enabling two trains and 2000 passengers to proceed. After 18 hours the stock of the train's firewood became exhausted and a perfect pandemonium reigna;l. The sufferings of the people were terrible. 60passengers, headed by Count Kapnist, started afoot and reached a station, opening up communication with Odessa. The Governor at once despatched sledges with food, and many passengers were delirious and frost-bitten. It is feared that over 100 have succumbed to the hardships, The storm is abating. 18,000 soldiers are Btill hard at work. The fate of the rest of trains at Razdyelnanaia is unknown.
