Sydnby, January 11. Mr Seddon wired to Mr Barton from Brisbane condoling with him on Dickson's death and sympathising with the Federal Ministers on the loss of their celleague. He says that the people of New Zealand, with the people of United Australia, will mourn the loss of so distinguished a statesman. Dickson will be buried with full state honors to-molrrow and all the public offices throughout the state will be closed. Mr Chamberlain cabled to Lord Hopetoun deeply regretttng the loss sustained by the Commonwealth and Queensland through the death of Sir Jas Dickson, and asking to convey hie sympathy to the family.
