For some months great quantities of slime have been apparent in Tasman Bay, and this slime proved highly fatal to fishOf late it has been less apparent in this vicinity but reports just in from Golden Bay state that it is proving increasingly fatal to fi3h. Tho captain of the Lady Barkely reports that in stoaming from Collingwood to Takaka, and thence to Separation Point, he passed through slime and dead fish the whoje way, the fish boing so close together that they were not a footstep apart.
