The greater part of the day at the National Rifle Association Meeting was occupied by the first stage of the Queen Victoria match, 400, 500, and GOO ranges. The prizes for this match amount to thousands. The top scorer to-day was Private Gargett (Victoria) 9S New Zealanders —Robinson B.S, Loveday 87, M'Carthy and Winslado 85, J. Wilson SO, Ballinger 82, Steelman 80, King 79, Shepherd 78, Gatland 77, Kollard 70, Jones and Dodd 75, Ingpcn 74, Tobin 73, Cox and Maegregor 70, Wilson (Feilding) 68, Pritchmar 55. A fresh southerly wind was cool on the range in the South Australian match. J. Wilson won 412, Dobbs, Tobin, J.M'lntosh and Winslado Cl each. In the second stage of the Queen Victoria match the New Zealanders did not show up well— Wilson (Fielding) 61, Winslade 01 Cox 59, Robinson 58, Ballinger and Loveday 56 being the leading scorers.
