TX7RITTEN applications are invited, * v and will be received at County Chambers, Grevmouth, up to 12 o'olook NOON, on SATURDAY, 19th inst,, for the following works : 1. Big River- Slatey Creek Road, 1 party containing 4 men. 2. Cape Terrace Road Section 7, 1 party containing 3 men. Cape Terrace Road Section 8, 1 party containing 3 men. Cape Terrace Road Section 9, 1 party containing 3 men. Cobden-Point Elizabeth Road, 1 party containing 4 men. Each member of each party must sign the application, which must clearly state the name and section of work for which application is made. In the event of one or more members of a successful party withdrawing from the party, the remaining members will not be allowed to proceed with the work, but fresh applications will be invited, and the section again balloted for in the usual way. If more ihan the required number of parties apply selection will be made by ballot, at which applicants are invited to be present. Applications to be addressed to County Chairman, and marked on outside of envelope with the name and section of work applied for. Plans, specifications, and estimates for 1 can be seen at Mr J. W.
