Locality of the Race, and of its starting and Terminal Points.—Commencing at a point at the western side of Safety Camp (ji'cck at peg marked A, situate about 5 miles' point where said creek is intersected by County road to Haupiri, and taking heads of water therefrom, thence a westerly direction for a distance of about 5 miles and intersecting lias-aft!!.. Creek and taking 12 heads of water therefrom, thence continuing in westerly direction a distance of about H miles and terminating at and held by me under ordinary prospecting license same being situate Napoleon Hill Orwell Crock. Length and intended course of race—l 6 miles westerly. Points of intake —Safety Camp Creek and Randall Creek. Estimated time and cost of construction—s years T9OOO. Mean depth and breadth —Breadth 4ft, depth 3 feet. Number of heads to be diverted—22 heads. Purpose for which water is to be used— Water required for hydraulic sluicing by my party and to sell any surplus, Proposed term of License—42 years.
