Lync, on the strength of le"al advice, declares he has not forfeited his seat in t State Parliament by accepting a fcfblio in the Federal Cabinet. He will not resign his office of state. The Premier at present considers it would bo particularly inconvenient to do so just now in the midst of Commonwealth celebrations.
