SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EX V TBAGT*—Under the distinguished patronan/ of His Majesty the Sing of Ir,p*y, as per eotfi i.mnication male by the Minister for*Foreign ■ 3a:rs, through the Consul-General for Italy i.Melbourne, Math 14, 1873. Awarded Diploma at the Amsterdam Exhibition,/1883Acknowledged by Medical Clinics antf Uni versifies all over the Globe. g There are imitations of Eucalypti Extract in the market, products of simple distillation, orming crude, resinous oils. In orde> that these crude oils may not be taken for efu pure VolatiloEucalypti Extract, which is recognised by the Medical Division of the Prussian Go- V vernment to be of perfectly pure origin, as per information forwarded to us (through the Consul at Melbourne, March ,'2, 1878, we state: — It is proved by tests n; .do by .the Medical Clinics of the Universities of Bom*) and Griefswald (Prussia), and reported toby Ur Sclvuita Professor of Pharmacology at Bonn, and Professor Dr Mossier, Director of the. Medical Clines at Griefswald, that only products that are saturated with oxygen and freed of acids resinous and other substances adheveutto primary distillation, will develop the sflHfe qualifies proper to the plant. All or so-called Eucalypti Extracts, ar*fts bo classed according to the named autnorib is, among the turpentines, which are abandoned long since as an internal medicament. TI *se crude oil, or so-called Eucalypti Extracts, are discernible : 1. By their deficiency in pungent oaor (which our product, the only genuine Eucalypti Extract, develops most freely through ts surplus oxygen.) 2. By their alcoholic, thin, and mobile appearance, being reduced to specific density through the presence of acids. 3. By their taste, the result of contract ing tendency of resins and tanats. If these crude oils, or so-called Eucalypti Extracts, are applied by mistake in eases of croup, bronchitis, diptheria, internal inflammation, dysentry, etc., the consequences are most appalling. For safety’s sake ask always for Sander and Sons’ Eucalypti Extract. — Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia.—SANDEß & SONS.
