Entrance 10s. 12 noon. 2 Pony Pace, under 141 hands high—--6 Sovs, second home to receive 1 sov out of stakes; one mile; entrance 5 per cant. 12 45 p.m. 3 Takaka Cur—3o Sovs, second horse to receive 5 sovs out of stakes; weight for age; 11-miles; for all horses that have not won an advertised race of .£4O; entrance 30s. 1 30 p.m. 4 Hack Race—3 Sovs, second horse to receive 1 sov out of stakes; olio mile; entrance 5 per cent 2 15 p.m. 5 Ttottino lives—3 So vs, second horse to receive 1 sov out of stakes; two miles; entrance 5 per cent. 3 p.m. 6 Hurdle Race —3O Sovs. second horse to receive 5 sovs out of stakes; 11- mile ;; for all horses that have not won an advertised race of ,£‘43; entrance 30s. 4 p.m. 7 Hack Hurdle Race —S Sovs, second hoi’se to receive 1 sov out of stakes; one mile; entrance 5 per cent. 4 45 pun. 8 Consolation Race—s Sovs, tor all horses that have started but not won a first or second prize in any of the previous races. Entrance 5 per cent. All entries for the Takaka Cup and Hurdle R ace to be sent in to the Secretary by 8 p.m. on the ,13th December; name and age of horse to be stated, al o name of owner and colors of rider, and no person allowed to start a horse unless lie be a subscriber of one guinea to the Raeiim Fund.. No horse allowed to start for Hack and Pony Races that has won an advertised race of £lB. No person allowed to start a horse for Nos 1,2, 4,5, and 7 unless he be a subscriber of half a guinea to the Racin'' Fund. No horse allowed to start for Hack Races that has entered for Takaka Cap and Hurdle Race. No horse allowed to start for No 4 that has entered for No 1. ■ In Hurdle Race; no weight to be less than 10 stone. Three entries to each event or no second prize. Nelson Jockey Club rules adopted.
