APPLICATION FOR A MINERAL LEASE.

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that it is my intention to apply to the Land Board for the Nelson Land District for a MINERAL LEASE of a piece of land situate in the Aorere District and containing about 260 acres, bounded approximately as follows:—Commencing at the Northern corner of the ground known as Johnston’s United, thence in a Northeasterly direction on a bearing of about 42 degrees for a distance of 60 chains: thence in an Easterly direction on a bearing of about 101 degrees for a distance of

30 chains; thence in a South westerly direction to the North-eastern corner of the ground held by Johnston’s United Company; thence along the Northern boundary of that ground to the commencing point.
