COLLINGWOOD ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the above Board was held last Tuesday evening. Present, Messrs W. 0. Riley (Chairman), Willicombe, Squire and R. P. Riley. Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed.

Resolved that the Clerk see Mr Williams and request him to keep on the Ferry at the present rate until the end of the year, and that Tenders be called lor working the high and low water Ferries from the Ist of January next. Read letter from Mr Cedvrnian re making road from his property at Riverdale to the Quartz Range Road, he agreeing to pay half cost. Resolved that his offer bo accepted provided it be done in accordance with and under the inspection of the Board.

Resolved that the Clerk inform Mr Cederman the Board do not hold themselves responsible for the damage done by the fire he complains about; that the Clerk acknowledge the receipt of Mr Cederman’s letter ot the 27th ultimo making complaints a i to the . execution of the contract on the road to the bridge site, and inform'him he will inspect the work complained about.

Resolved that the Clerk inspect the work being done under Diamond’s con-

tract, as to whether it is according to specification; that tenders be called for supplying Gravel for the road from Rockville Road to the Bridge site, to be in by Tuesday the 17th inst; that the Clerk draw plans and prepare specifications for Wire Foot-bridge across the Aorere river at Salisbury’s crossing, on the basis of the rough drafts prepared ky him and approved.
