COUNTY COUNCIL
The Council met at Takaka on the 28tli November. Present, all the members. Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed.
Proposed by Mr W, C, Riley seconded by Mr. Page and carried unanimously, That Cr. Packard be Chairman.

From Surveyor General informing Council that the Public Work* deparmuitare instructed to prepare ulans and call for tenders for Takaka Bridge as soon as possible. From Colonial Secretary stating that certain resolutions passed at a m letng pissel iu Collingwood, and.endorsed by County Council were receiving consideration
From \V Gibbs E;qr re crossing at I’akal.a River. Resolved that the Secretary write to Mr Tarrant asking when he will be prepared to lay out Road from Aorere to Karauie. Accounts received and paid £l4, Os, 7J. Balance sheet read and adopted. Secretary instructed to write to Surveyor General asking that. Road Aorere Valley be surveyed and work started before winter. 'That Secretary write to .Marine Roar l, re the erectiing and maintaining leading lights in the Waitapu Channel, and send proper return of shipping Ac. for past twelve months. Cr. W, (j, Riley gave notice that at next meeting he would move that this Council apply to Government for £•"’000, for Bridge Aorere River. Council rose.
