The Invercargill oats warrant cases came before Mr Justice Penefather today in an application which may have the effect of facilitating the liquidators or the Colonial Bank. Although the decision had been in j favor of the plaintiff, nothins had j been done since in the way of drawing | up the judgment. It was suggested " that the delay might be to give more time to appeal if they thought ifc desirable, or to see accounts with a view of ascertaining what would come to the claimants It was eventually agreed that the summons should stand over for a week, Messrs Connell and Brooks undertaking in the meantime to deliver drafts of the judgment to the other side.
