The Manchester Rifles held a company parade last night at which there was a fcur attendance. Captain Kirton, Lir'uts. Barltrop and Pleasauts, Sergts. Aitken, Humphries, and Pleasants drilled the men in the several exercises \t the parade to be held on the 9ih instant a full attendance is requested, as there is much work to be done by the non - commissioned officers. Two more recruits weie accepted. Owing to a variety of causes the corps will not be able to compete with the Cheltenham liifJe Club team, as appointed for to morrow, but the nth tch v'iJj probably be fired on Saturday next on the Feilding range.
