WOOL SALES.
Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.'s report on the wool and skin sales is as follow:— Tho usual attendance of buyers was present at to day's fortnightly sales when we offered 1100 sheepskins and a number of bags of wool. Since the be ginning of the wool season the market for skins has shown an easier tone, and prices aro now jd to £d lower than at the beginning of November. At this reduction there is a keen demand and best croßsbreds sold readily to-day at 5d j>er lb, other descriptions in proportion. Our next skin sale will take place on 14th of January and the next large wool sale on 20th January. Messrs Levin and Co. report as follows : — We offered 700 skins to-day (Wednesday) and quitted them at prices up to recent quotations. The current range of values is as follows: — Good crossbred skins, 4:{d to sd ; medium skins, 4«d to 4\4 ; dead and broken, H\d to 4}d ; pelts, 4d to 9d. The next sale is fixed tor 14th January.
