Captain Edwin wired to-day : Barometer rise everywhere during the next 12 hours, but falling *t places north of the Thames and Auckland after that time. Strong easterly winds, probably with rain, are to be expected at all places north pf Thames and Manukau, and moderate to fresh westerly winds and fine weather everywhere.
