Messrs Lowes and Irons report that at their fortnightly stock sale Rome prime fat sheep cime forward, meeting with ready cale, those halt fatted only making store prices. In store wethers those of> ferine were mostly two-tooth. Beef was in short supply. In store cattle some good quality in calves, yearlings, and 18---months were yarded, ami all quitted under the hammer. A few good young pigs came in nnd made high rates. Fat wethers, 8s ; fat ewes, 6 ; forward wethers, 7a ; forward ewes, 5s to 5s 6d ; 2 tooth wethers ranged from 5s to 5s 9d ; 2 tooth ewes, 5s 3d to 5h 9cl ; light beef, 80s|to 90s ; 18 months store cattle, 38a ; yearlings, 25s to 279 6d ; calves, 15t to 20s ; small store pigs, Jss ftd ; weaners, 10s 6d.
