The l'rince will have a little practice this morning to see how he feels and then it will finally be decided. He has announced his intention to play if at all possible. A championship match was played at Feildiug ou Saturday between teams representing the Colyton and FeUdiog Club*, resulting in a win for tho former by seven wirkots. The wicket was in favor of the bowlers, which, to a certain extent, accounted for tho small scores. In the first innings W. Entwisle secured fivo wickets for ten runs and J. Entwisle four for ten, and in the secood innings W. Entwisle secured six wickets for 10 and J. Eutwisle four for 11 runs. For Feildicg Stowart secured 5 wickets for 14 ruus and Coote 4 for 14 ; in the second innings Stewart secured 2 wickets for 10 runs and Coote 1 for 5. Luncheon was provided by the home team for tho visitors, Mr W. Grantbam being entrusted with the catering and after noon tea was provided by Mrs Lethhriddge aiid Mrs Sorley. A meeting of the committee of tbe former will take place on Saturday to make the necessary arrangements. Some time ago at a meeting of sab ■cribers to the Birmingham Cricket Ground Fund it was decided to place the control of tho ground in the bands of a committee elected outside of tbe cricket club itself. This scheme was found to be unsatisfactory an<l a further meeting of all subscribers was held on Saturday night at which it was unanimously decided to place the ground tbe under tbe management of the Trustees. This means that tbe Birmingham Cricket Club will have control for tbe future. The Birmingham v. Cheltenham cham-pion-ship match resulted in n win for the former. The scores will appear in toiuoitow'h issue.
