Manchester Rifles
The fifth and final competition for Lieut. Pleasants' prize was fired yesterday. In the morning the weather was fine and favorable for shooting, but in the afternoon the wind was very "choppy" and the light was bad, thus affecting the scores of those who fired in the afternoon. Vol. W. McMillan, with a handicap of 24 points, topped the score with 83. The following are the scores : —
