The Council mot at '2 30 Tbe Minister for Education, in reply to the Hon Mr Ormocd, said le would consider bis request that the opinion of the Crown law officers should be taken on the question of whether or not memorandum under which valuations had been made under tbe Government Valuation of Land Act was inconsistent with that statute. Tne Council adjourned at 2.45.
